Generating awareness for luxury European F&B brands in the Singapore market

French oyster brand ‘Marennes Oléron Oyster Quality Group’ and French wine brand ‘Chablis Wines’ were collaboratively showcasing at Seafood Expo Asia Singapore 2022, as the two products are complimentary to one another.

Sinclair was appointed to raise awareness and build reputation for the two F&B brands whilst they were present in the Singapore market, through public relations and a premium dinner event for trade and consumer media. The challenge was that both brands, especially Marenees Oléron Oyster Quality Group, were relatively unknown in the market.

Approach

Strategy Identified multiple channels of communication to allow the two brands to connect with relevant F&B media in Singapore and raise brand awareness.

Narrative Focus was put on the brands’ high quality and unique French offering. The pairing capabilities and luxurious compatibility of the two products were also highlighted.

Experience Invited F&B consumer, F&B trade and lifestyle media and KOLs to an intimate dining experience to learn more about the two brands’  French heritage, meet their spokespeople, talk to chefs experienced in using the produce, and sample the oysters and wine.

Content Distribute a press release that introduced the two brands to the market and raised awareness about their presence at Seafood Expo Asia Singapore 2022, as well as other in-market happenings that consumers could engage with.
