We are seeking a self-motivated Chinese content writer and translator who thinks in language and can tell complicated stories in simple, attention-capturing ways to join our Hong Kong office. Your objective is to ensure excellence in the agency’s content work across a variety of media and platforms. Someone with a positive outlook and a ‘can-do’ attitude who thrives on responsibility and accountability. It’s important that you work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Research trends, craft impactful messaging and storytelling for media, social media and marketing, able to adapt tone for target audience across B2C and B2B channels
• Strategy & Planning: work alongside account teams on the planning, creation, development and editing of content
• SEO: Use SEO strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility
• Time Management: work across multiple teams to tight timelines, managing expectations and completing work on schedule
• Translation: Day-to-day ad hoc translation of press releases, social media content and marketing collaterals
• Editing: Be the agency’s go-to person for Chinese language content, ensuring creative excellence across the agency
• Client Servicing: Assist in managing frontline client servicing alongside senior team members

Requirements

• Possess truly exceptional writing skills in native Traditional Chinese
• Strong work ethic
• Degree qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or within integrated marketing communications or media team
• Prove level of excellence in traditional Chinese writing and translation
• Work well under pressure, handling tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects at the same time
• Very high attention to detail and accuracy
• Holder of Permanent HK ID card or legally eligible to work in Hong Kong
• A sense of humour!
