Starting the Hong Kong conservation conversation

We were asked to create awareness for Conservation International and the importance of conservation, following the Hong Kong office launch of the international environmental organisation. Pioneering improved human wellbeing by better managing natural resources, the NGO aimed to connect on a local level.

Approach
  • Localised the US-led Nature Is Speaking campaign by featuring Chinese celebrities
  • Created and populated a bi-lingual Conservation International Hong Kong website and Facebook
  • Led a social media campaign to gain awareness in the market and engage opinion leaders and the larger community to take up the cause
  • Promoted the NGO’s Hong Kong office as the poster child for ‘green offices’; it is the only office in the city to obtain the BEAM Platinum award to date
  • Established corporate and stakeholder relations to ensure visibility of brand message across multiple platforms
  • Created and highlighted partnerships with local NGOs and schools for real and meaningful connections with the community
