As more international visitors return, the inaugural Wellness Festival Singapore (WFS) will play a key part in developing the Singapore Tourism Board’s strategy to position the city as a leading Urban Wellness haven. This never-before-seen nationwide effort to promote holistic wellbeing will inspire locals and visitors to embrace holistic wellness, with an aim of boosting awareness of Singapore’s diverse wellness offerings and capabilities, growing a strong base of wellness advocates, and creating partnerships among key industry players.
The festival’s 10-day line-up will feature over 120 physical and virtual wellness offerings spanning fitness classes, meditation workshops, arts and lifestyle experiences from a range of fitness studios, attractions, hotels, shopping malls, artists, arts groups, and other wellness and lifestyle businesses. Participants can also take part in networking opportunities so likeminded businesses can connect and expand their wellness offerings amongst each other. The events will be a mix of both free and ticketed.
Several large-scale activations in popular locations will also be available across Singapore as part of the festival’s approach to reach as many people as possible. The Wellness Sensorium, a multi-sensory pop-up at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay, will offer six wellness zones with plenty of Instagrammable experiences. Zentosa Fest will transform Singapore’s iconic leisure destination into a wellness island retreat featuring wellness-themed staycation programmes, beach activities, and other lifestyle offerings. The famous Singapore Botanic Gardens, HortPark-Harbourfront, and Fort Canning Park will be turned into three Merli Wellness Trails inviting participants to explore the parks and garden, answering questions in exchange for exclusive prizes.
Other world-class destinations in Singapore will also take part such as National Gallery Singapore to promote the importance of arts in fostering wellbeing, Jewel Changi Airport to offer complimentary fitness and health classes against stunning backdrops, and various dining establishments to showcase the role food plays in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
