One of Hong Kong’s most beloved entertainment spaces, The Grounds, is back for a second season at AIA Vitality Park.
Following the resounding success of its first season, The Grounds is bringing an exciting line-up of new movies, pods, ticket types and food options to season two. With Hong Kong’s borders now reopened for tourists, the outdoor venue is sure to be buzzing over the next few months.
“The Grounds allows us to continue our support towards Hong Kong’s hospitality and entertainment industries. Over the last year, we spoke to our partners and guests to better understand what they would like to see this fall. An overwhelming 94 per cent of the Hongkongers we surveyed said they would come back and that they want more – more movies, more kids activities, and more food, so that’s exactly what we’ve planned,” said Simon Wilson, Managing Director at The Grounds.
So, what can we expect from season two?
New pods, tickets and packages
Enjoy this unique outdoor experience safely and comfortably with three pod options – Classic, Prime or Luxe. Classic Pods now include four upgraded deck chairs, while the new Prime Pods feature B Project ‘sofa style’ chairs in prime viewing locations. Five exclusive Luxe Pods come complete with a mix of luxurious chairs and sofas, a bottle of Champagne or Premium Wine on arrival and are situated in the best viewing locations.
All pods are allocated within their classification on a first-come-first-served basis in four-person pod configurations.
Additionally, The Grounds is also introducing multi-movie and movie marathon tickets, with more details and movie titles to be revealed soon.
New drinking and dining options
Guests can still order food from the comfort of their private pod through The Grounds’ seamless mobile ordering system. Continuing their collaboration with Basehall, new items on the menu include signature dishes from FRANCIS, Return of Lemak, Bengal Brothers and Benko by Nüte. Drink options cater to all ages, with cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, juice and other drinks available to order. Specials will include drinks by Aperol Spritz, ONLY, Orion, and Perrier.

The Grounds wants to ensure season two is accessible for everyone – singles, couples, friends and families.
