StartmeupHK Festival has returned in a hybrid format from 5-10 September. Curated by Invest Hong Kong and guided by the theme A Future Unlimited, this year’s Festival is packed full of exciting events and insightful speakers.
Seven main events have filled their schedules with panel discussions, keynote speeches, startup pitches and exhibitions covering a range of topics including the Metaverse, NFTs, gaming, HealthTech, PropTech ArtTech and sustainability. Engaging the minds of both young and experienced leaders from the around the world, the Festival hopes to champion Hong Kong’s position as a dynamic and thriving startup ecosystem.
Day One (5 Sep) of the Festival kicked off yesterday with the GBA Innovation Summit 2022 by TusPark and the 1.5°C Summit – The Defining Decade for Impact with Tech, hosted by Eureka Nova and New World Development.
Day Two (6 Sep) began with Brinc’s Asia Healthcare Innovation Summit addressing key trends shaping the healthcare industry and ended with day one of WHub’s Scaleup Impact Summit – Universe x Metaverse, where digitalisation of everyday systems is top of the agenda.
Day Three (7 Sep) Scaleup Impact Summit – Universe x Metaverse continues, with attendees able to join in-person, virtually or via the Metaverse to hear from world-class speakers about all things Web3, DeFi, ESG and FinTech.
Day Four (9 Sep) sees Game On! 2022 by MaGESpire begin its 1.5-day virtual conference that aims to celebrate the essence of gaming, art, music and entertainment. Asia PropTech’s Asia PropTech Beyond 2022 is another 1.5-day event commencing today that will examine the ways traditional real estate is evolving.
Day Five (10 Sep) hosts the second half of Game On! 2022 and welcomes the Festival’s final main event: The Connected Cities Conference by KPMG. Come along to hear about Hong Kong’s ‘smart city’ blueprint and journey toward sustainable development.
