Entering the fourth quarter of 2020 has bought with it new clients for Sinclair, across each of our four hubs in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore, helping us solidify our position as a leading independent agency with reach across Asia Pacific.
Our newest hub in Singapore, which launched in October 2019, recently confirmed contracts with brands in both the corporate and consumer sectors. Visionary urban design studio JERDE appointed Sinclair to support with building brand awareness and driving a thought leadership strategy in Singapore and Vietnam, while Green Planet Foods selected Sinclair to help launch its venture studio, which is focused on plant-based food & beverages and advanced farming technologies. Additionally, having successfully worked with Sinclair’s Hong Kong hub since 2019, SmileDirectClub called upon our Singapore arm to launch the brand in that market. Finally, lebua Hotels and Resorts and design consultancy firm Arcadis selected Sinclair to deliver thought leadership strategies and increase visibility across the APAC region.
Director, Head of Business Development – Singapore, Sai Roshini Daswani said: “Events of the past year have shone a light on the importance of communications. More than ever, we shape conversations that matter by supporting our clients, old and new, through these difficult times. Pivot strategies, impactful campaigns and supporting local communities has been at the heart of our work, whilst simultaneously reaching our clients’ business and communications objectives. Our first year in Singapore, although different from what we had imagined, has still successfully helped us reach our vision of growing Sinclair’s footprint in Asia, enabling us to cater to client requests for a greater presence in Southeast Asia, and provide our full range of services to a wider client base.”
In Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, we have been appointed as a partner by multiple brands crossing a variety of sectors, to deliver creative and bold work that drives exceptional business outcomes. Swire Properties appointed Sinclair to drive awareness in Greater China for the tour of the design installation “Please Be Seated” by the Paul Cocksedge Studio; and ultra-luxury, ultra-private residence K11 ARTUS has extended its relationship with Sinclair throughout the year to build consumer awareness in Hong Kong and overseas. We continue to work with Mind HK, helping normalise discussions on the topic of mental health through campaigns such as #BehindTheMask. Other exciting new wins include The Hong Kong International Literary Festival, which is more accessible this year as a result of increased online content, and Aurabeat, the innovative tech company that recently launched the world’s first-ever air purifier that can eliminate 99.9% of COVID-19.
Founder & CEO Kiri Sinclair said: “2020 has taught us to learn from challenges, be agile, and embrace new opportunities.
