Sinclair has been awarded for three integrated campaigns for international organisations across industry and sector at the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards 2019. The awards, which recognise innovative achievements in business worldwide, reinforce the agency’s growing reputation as a leading regional player.
In the Innovation in Public Affairs Communications category, Sinclair took home gold for the GREAT Festival of Innovation for the UK Department for International Trade. The four-day event, which took place at the Asia Society Hong Kong Center in March 2018, saw business leaders, innovators and policy makers across sector and industry with a vision to share innovation and create life-long partnerships that will drive the future of free trade and prosperity between the UK, Hong Kong and the region. The GREAT Festival of Innovation was the biggest UK-overseas joint trade event that UK Government has ever delivered, welcoming 1,600 attendees, nearly 300 UK businesses and 180 high-profile speakers from the UK and Asia.
Sinclair was also awarded two bronze Stevies, in the categories of Innovation in Media Relations and Innovation in Community Relations or Public Service Communications. In the former, the agency added to its growing awards haul for Shoes: Pleasure & Pain for Swire Properties and the V&A London. The exhibition made its Asia debut in Shanghai in 2017, and embarked on an 18-month, 5-city tour of Swire Properties destinations across Greater China. In the community category, Sinclair was recognised for WWF’s Sustainable Seafood Week, a week-long festival in November 2018 that raised awareness about how Hong Kong, the second-largest per-capita seafood consumer in Asia, needs to rethink food consumption choices for sustainable living.
