Miele launches highly-functional appliances for sustainable living

Miele has launched a new range of highly-functional cooking appliances in Hong Kong.

Miele, the premium German manufacturer of domestic appliances, has introduced its latest kitchen appliance innovations to provide ultimate convenience and sustainable living options for Hong Kong residents. The new combination steam oven with a HydroClean function and the SmartLine cooking unit offer highly-functional solutions for the fast-paced lifestyle of Hong Kong homes.

The newly-launched Combi steam oven with the HydroClean function brings convenience and longevity to cooking enthusiasts across the region. With its self-cleaning capabilities it effortlessly eliminates stains and burnt residue, ensuring a pristine look and extended product life. The oven combines oven and steam cooking programmes, saving kitchen space while simultaneously providing exceptional convenience.

The SmartLine cooking units, recognised by the iF Design Award, offer outstanding flexibility with a range of induction cooktops and high-power brass burners. These units cater specifically to the needs of Hong Kong kitchen users and are particularly convenient for those with open kitchens in petite living spaces. The timeless design, compact surface, and high-end brass burners are both easy on the eye and easy to clean.

In addition to these kitchen innovations, Miele offers a wide variety of energy-efficient home solutions: its K7000 refrigerator collection keeps groceries fresh up to five times longer with PerfectFresh Active technology; its washing machines’ TwinDos automatic liquid dispensing system reduces detergent usage and minimises environmental impact; and its tumble dryer with Ecodry functionality guarantees short drying times and energy saving.

Miele’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond energy-efficient appliances alone. By achieving carbon neutrality in their production facilities, Miele is now focused on the consumer usage aspect, which contributes to around 85% of an appliance’s carbon footprint. The brand’s consumption dashboard promotes efficient appliance use by displaying users’ energy consumption, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and electricity bills.

With these latest innovations, Miele continues to elevate the home experience with state-of-the-art technology, creativity, and sustainability. For more information about Miele and its premium domestic appliances, visit www.miele.hk.
