British high-end audio company KEF has opened KEF Music Studio at Ocean Centre, Harbour City Mall in Tsim Sha Tsui. Conceived exclusively to showcase the brand’s latest digital wireless offerings, KEF Music Studio revolutionises traditional high-fidelity retail audio experiences in a contemporary setting. The Studio represents a new era of the brand’s evolution over 60 years; it is a physical, experiential expression of KEF’s continued innovation, expertise and passion for high-fidelity audio technology.
An extension of its flagship store in Central – KEF Music Gallery, the new Music Studio sets out to instantly transport guests to a luxury home setting. Showcasing the brand’s innovative sound technology and contemporary design aesthetic in two zones, The Gallery and the Home Theatre. Upon entering the store, guests will embark on a curated musical journey, with energetic beats to capture shoppers’ attention from the store front, leading into softer relaxing tunes in the Home Theatre. Whilst enjoying the immersive experience, guests can browse a variety of KEF speakers including those designed for small living spaces as well as much larger sized subwoofers.
Igniting additional senses beyond sound, the space features stunning art pieces from some of the world’s most renowned artists and designers including Michael Craig-Martin, contemporary conceptual artist and furniture designer, Jaime Hayon and Julian Opie reflecting the brand’s passion for craftmanship and innovation. Overlooking panoramic sea views of Hong Kong island across the harbour, the Home Theatre is designed as a residential setting, featuring a pair of the brand’s iconic BLADE TWO. Acoustically treated, this area is also equipped with built-in architectural speakers and a projector for guests to experience a true home cinema experience.
