Sinclair is thrilled to announce that our Director – Head of Business Development Hong Kong, Jessica Man, has been appointed as a member of the Social Committee for the Interactive Advertising Bureau Hong Kong (IAB HK), for 2021.
IAB HK is a not-for-profit association which aims to develop standards and best practice on digital marketing to shape the future of the sector for Hong Kong’s advertising and marketing community. Members of IAB HK share a common goal to see marketers embrace digital at a level unprecedented in Hong Kong’s advertising and marketing industry. Through working with its member companies, including Sinclair, IAB HK is committed to talent development, education and cutting-edge research about the critical role of digital marketing.
The association has a mission to help Hong Kong’s advertising and marketing professionals get the most out of digital, including social media as one of the most prominent channels in Hong Kong. In her role on the Social Committee, Jessica will support with the organisation of events and programmes that will facilitate knowledge sharing amongst members, support with idea generation and the execution of activities.
Speaking of her appointment, Jessica said, “I am delighted to be working with IAB HK, helping to enhance and improve the digital landscape for Hong Kong’s marketers. Sinclair has been a long term member of IAB HK, where we have benefited from and contributed to IAB HK’s insightful events, workshops, research and data. I am honoured to be able to support the association in 2021 in my new role and work alongside so many inspiring leaders in the regions digital marketing industry”.
The Social Committee is one of six working groups, the other IAB HK committees include Data & Measurement, Mobile, Programmatic, Video, and Education. Together, these committees, made up of volunteers, discuss current challenges and opportunities in Hong Kong, and set the industry agenda via events and projects.
