IWG (International Workspace Group), the world’s largest provider of flexible workspaces, has appointed integrated PR agency Sinclair to lead its corporate communications strategy across Mainland China. Operating in over 1,100 cities and towns in more than 120 countries, IWG supports millions of people and their businesses to work more productively by providing a wide variety of flexible office options around the world, including Regus, Spaces, HQ, No18, Basepoint, Openoffice and Signature. IWG has operated in China for over 26 years, successfully introducing many of its brands at 121 locations.
Sinclair’s hub in Shanghai will lead the team working with IWG to strengthen the company’s corporate brand reputation amongst business leaders, consumers and media across the Mainland China market. By leveraging a mix of integrated PR strategies that includes media relations, content creation and executive profiling, Sinclair will highlight IWG’s pioneering thought leadership in the workspace sector, helping to drive the company’s ambitious growth plans within the region while also assisting millions of people to have a great day at work—everyday.
“IWG created the flexible workspace industry and has led it from the beginning, evolving and adapting as the needs of business and individuals have changed over time. It is rare that an agency has the opportunity to work with a client that has had such a profound impact on our daily lives, and we are delighted to be IWG’s communications partner for the Mainland China market,” says Kiri Sinclair, Founder and CEO of Sinclair. “As an agency, Sinclair has also adapted to market needs over time. Sinclair’s portfolio of corporate clients has grown steadily over the years and the addition of IWG to this roster is a testament to the expertise of our team and their ability to build strong insight-driven strategies. We look forward to working with IWG during this period of ambitious growth, reinforcing their position as industry pioneers and drivers of the workspace revolution.”
The review was led by IWG Group Head of Communications, Simon Condon who joined the company in August to lead PR, internal communications, social and content for the world’s largest workplace operator. He shares, “We’re delighted to be working with Sinclair in Mainland China at this pivotal moment as the world of work radically transforms. We will be partnering closely with the team at Sinclair to deliver stand-out campaigns that support the continued growth of the business in the region”.
