The future is now: FITCH to unveil the MXP system at Retail Asia Expo 2018

FITCH Trend Trail Retail Asia Expo 2018 - Jonathan Cummings FITCH

FITCH, the global leader in retail and brand consultancy, returns to the Retail Asia Expo 2018 to host their renowned Trend Trail, taking attendees on a journey through Asia’s latest emerging retail technology trends from the Expo’s leading exhibitors.

Running from 12 to 14 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 2018 Trend Trail will showcase FITCH’s latest technology: the MXP operating system for malls. Technology showcased by exhibitors at the Retail Asia Expo 2018 will reflect this year’s Trend Trail theme: The World Through the Eyes of the Consumer. Focusing on service by prioritising the consumer journey, FITCH has integrated their PHD Model into the Trend Trail. The model demonstrates a deep understanding of the Physical, Human and Digital elements of every shopper experience, helping FITCH create a unique experience that goes beyond technology to incorporate different forms of service.

As visitors enter Retail Asia Expo, they will be greeted by the FITCH Trend Trail, where they will experience innovative retail business solutions from leading exhibitors including Salesforce, who will be showcasing their Einstein Artificial Intelligence product, Tofugear who will be introducing their latest Blockchain anti-counterfeiting solutions, and IWT, who will demonstrate their facial recognition technology.

The event will also see the official launch of FITCH’s very own operating system for malls, MXP. This OS is an advanced solution for all malls to connect with and deliver a higher level of service to shoppers. MXP connects all digital channels including interactive kiosks, websites, apps, incentive programmes, social media, advertising and more, providing mall operators an opportunity to deliver a greater level of integrated Physical, Human, and Digital connectivity to their customers.

Designed for a seamlessly connected world, MXP saves time and resources and gives mall operators a strategic advantage. The platform forms the basis of an ecosystem that’s intelligent, data-rich, and futureproofed for a rapidly evolving landscape, and an ever-dynamic customer base.

FITCH’s partnership with Retail Asia Expo will bring fresh ideas to the rapidly growing retail and e-commerce market in Asia. Integrating FITCH’s PHD Model and MXP technology into the Trend Trail will showcase the importance retailers and mall operators should place on seamless service, to ensure shoppers visit again and again.

Retail Asia Expo 2018 takes place at HKCEC from 12-14 June. For more information, head to retailasiaexpo.com.
